Meet Kavan Peterson
Kavan’s passion is empowering people to embark on life-changing journeys towards self-discovery, personal growth and profound inner healing. He combines the catalytic potential of psychedelic medicine work with the person-centered structure, evocative feedback, and accountability of a professional health coaching framework.
Kavan is the founder of Harvest Wholeness and will complete a Masters in Integrative Health at the California Institute for Integral Studies in 2025 with a focus on psychedelic coaching and mind-body-spirit transformation. Kavan founded Harvest in 2022 to provide holistic ketamine-assisted therapy in Seattle and Missoula, Mont., in conjunction with mind-body modalities, psychedelic integration and harm reduction.
Kavan’s vision is empowerment through self-realization and personal growth. Kavan believes all people are intrinsically whole and his passion is to help people free themselvs of limiting beliefs and become the architects of their healing journey. His approach to coaching is to guide clients to connect to themselves, develop greater mindfulness, self-compassion and empathy, leading back to connection with relationships, nature, and often something even greater.
A lifelong student of Budō, the Japanese pursuit of mind-body-spirit embodiment through martial arts, Kavan holds a blackbelt and teaches Aikido. He also trains in Misogi breath purification meditation, Iado Japanese swordwork, Qi Gong, Tai Chi and boxing. Through these practices Kavan learned the most powerful medicines are breath, movement, and mindful connection.
Kavan has built a half dozen businesses and successfully launched transformational models for housing, care and community. In collaboration with Dr. Bill Thomas, Kavan helped co-found Kallimos Communities and the "M.A.G.I.C." multigenerational housing model recognized by the Wall Street Journal and New York Times as a critical new solution to combat isolation and housing insecurity. Kavan is a certified facilitator in Finding Meaning and Hope Institute’s dementia education series for family caregivers.
Kavan is also co-founder Harvest Home Care and ChangingAging.org, and co-created and directed the international ChangingAging Tour. An avid mountaineer and forager and big game hunter, Kavan lives in Seattle and splits time working in his hometown, Missoula, Mont.
